What are two reasons that a population of herbivores might decline in an ecosystem

    One reason is if the producer population goes down then eventually the herbivores are going to decline. Another reason is if the carnivores goes down then the herbivores are going to go up, then there going to start to eat the producers that will eventually go down which will make the herbivores decline.
