How would the ecosystem be affected if a large number of snakes are caught and moved out of the region as a part of a conservation program?

    If a large number of snakes are removed, their previous prey source's population will increase greatly due to a lack of predators, and anything that may have preyed on the snakes will decrease in population size and potentially die off if they cannot locate a new food source.
