sexual
Explanation:
Meiosis can be described as a type of cell division which leads to sexual reproduction. In the process of meiosis, four daughter cells are formed which have half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell. This is because half of the set will arise from the other parent after fertilization occurs. For example, in humans the sperm and the egg cell are formed by the process of meiosis. Crossing over and independent assortment are the phenomenon of meiosis which bring genetic variability.
