    c. animals

    Explanation:

The animal kingdom is the most diverse of all and has over 1 million species described, not to mention those still unknown to man. The Animalia Kingdom has over one million species arranged in over 30 phyla. One of the kingdom's most striking features is its ability to move, although there are also sessile (non-moving) representatives. In addition, animals have cells that form tissues, except for porifers, which do not have true tissues.

The animal kingdom is usually divided into two major groups: vertebrates and invertebrates. This first group, despite being the best known, represents only 5% of all existing animal species. Invertebrates, in turn, group the largest number of species, with about 95%. It is worth noting that this classification is artificial, being used only for didactic purposes.
