A pine forest on the coast is destroyed by a tsunami. After the tsunami small plants began to grow followed by some small trees and shrubs. Eventually over a time period of 75 years, the pines return and over the next 25 years, oak trees replace the pine trees.

    The answer is disturbance (biological agent) It disturbed the forest coast, which then led the forest to have a low resilience rate and grew back after a long period of time. but instead of pine, there was oak trees.
