What usually causes some species to become extinct? Give two examples of species that are now extinct.

    Usually what causes species to become extinct is hunting, pollution, destruction of habitats, and/or natural causes. For example, Caribbean monk seals and Dodo's are extinct. Both were by their enemies, humans who hunted them and the predators that ate them.
