If an object had a mass of 5 kilograms, what would be the wright of the object measured on a spring scale in the unit of newtons?

    I believe the weight of the object can be obtained by multiplying 5 kg to the acceleration due to gravity on earth at 9.8 or about 10 m/s^2. Which is 50 Newtons. The response I believe is C.
