    The geosphere has contradictory definitions in science. Generally, a geosphere can be considered to be the interior of the earth comprising of rocks and minerals. By this definition, soil is a part of the geosphere,

    The biosphere is the region of the Earth where living things are present. Hence, plants are a part of the biosphere. So, plants using nutrients from the soil shows that energy us being transferred from the geosphere to the biosphere.
