The invention of the telephone was fundamental in communication and has greatly changed over the years how has it changed communication

    Alexander Graham Bell originally wanted it for his deaf wife. It was to act as a hearing aid for her. Millions of people have benefited from this device.

    1. The telephone has made communication with distance relatives a daily or hourly occurrence if that is what the people want.

    2. It has made commerce much more convenient. You no longer have to go to a place to see what you want, it can be inquired about by phone.

    3. Texting between parents and children is much easier to do and it relieves the parents of not knowing where their children are and what they are doing.

    4. Business can be conducted much easier. Many documents can be transmitted through phone lines, signed and sent back. This does not require face to face contact.

    5. Appeals complaints and inquiries and clarifications can be easily dealt with using modern communication method.
