    -Difficult to stand and walk.

    -High cholesterol and blood pressure.

    - Shortness of breath during routine activities.

    -Difficulty in sleeping and breathing while sleeping.

    - Increased joint aches and pains.

    Long term:

    - Cardiovascular disease.

    - Hypertension.

    -Sleep apnea.

    -Stroke.

    -Type II diabetes.

    -Osteoarthritis.

    -Some cancers, including breast cancer.
