Why does a hypothesis need to be testable to be considered scientific?

    Explanation;

    -A hypothesis is a tentative statement that proposes a possible explanation to some phenomenon or event. A useful hypothesis is a testable statement, which may include a prediction.

    -A scientific hypothesis must be testable, but there is a much stronger requirement that a testable hypothesis must meet before it can really be considered scientific, which is; that it should be falsifiable. Falsifiability is the capacity for the hypothesis to be proven wrong.
