    Spain lies in the temperate zone it's climate is determined by its unusual world position, and by its continental land mass and high mountainous terrain, producing one of the most diverse and varies climates in Europe

    Apart from it's large size, Spain has a varied climate because of it is affected by the altitude and the sea and the continental effects. It is directly affected by its position to the Iberian Peninsula sandwiched between tropical and polar wind currents.
