Water will move out of the cell, causing it to shrivel. B. Water will move out of the cell, causing it to swell. C. Water will move in and out of the cell at the same rate. D.     It would be that water would move out of the cell causing the cell to shrivel. A. The reason being is that osmosis occurs as water will move from an area of low solute concentration which is inside the cell to high solute concentration which outside of the cell.
