Why is it an advantage for some plant like protists to be able to move using a flagella

    Flangella are thread like structures that most of the single-celled organisms used for their locomotion. If a protist is able to move using this structure, it will be easier for it to navigate in order to find food. They can also used the flangella to protect themselves.
