Independent variable - Player being good or bad, presence of audience

Dependent variable - Performance of player

    Explanation:

Independent variables are the constant variable in an experiment whose effect is studied on the subject of the experiment. While dependent variables are those which are dependent upon the independent variable.

Here, performance of the player is independent variable which is dependent upon the presence of audience. Hence "presence of audience" is the independent variable. Also, the type of player is also an independent variable which shall effect the performance of an individual player
