    Enzymes are specific this means they will only act over the substrate they were meant for. If the number of enzymes is higher, the reaction rate will decrease because there is not enough materials (substrate) to be reacting with. Its like a factory if your have 10 employees but you are only getting 1 car to be making your production slows down because you do not have enough materials to be working with
