Color blindness, sometimes known as color deficiency, is a defect in the retinas of an individual's eyes that limits a person from differentiating colors from one another due to the absence of color cone cells. If the investigation required the person to analyze the colored line spectra, the individual would be unable to do so because of the aforementioned defect.
