Water in the diet can come from the foods that you eat, as well as liquid foods and beverages. The dietary reference intake for water considers the water obtained from both foods and beverages. For each dietary source listed below, decide whether it is a good source of water or a poor source of water.

    Water is an integral part of all activities and processes in the body including digestion and disposal. Eat more vegetables and fruits. The high water content contributes to your hydration. Around 20% of our fluid intake comes from foodstuffs

    a. Herbal tea - It is a good source of water as it is diuretic but still it does not offset hydration and counted as godd odurce of water.

    b. Watermelon - Watermelon are very good source of wateras they are is made up of 91% water.

    c. Ice cream - It is a goo dsource of water as it it made up of water, milk and fat. water i spresent in higher amount.

    d. Raisins - raisins are poor source of water as they are dried up and they loss the moisture content but can be a healthy source if consumed after soaking in water.

    e. Whole wheat bread - it contains only 11% of water in each 100gm so it is not agood source of water and it acts as insoluble fiber.
