Since color is an illusion (the cones in our eyes see wavelengths and our brain perceives them as color), colors aren't real. But if a blind person can not see, because his eyes don't function correctly, how can they see black? A person without the ability to see shouldn't be able to see black, as black is considered a color. Does that mean that black isn't a color?

It means that blind people see what we, the people who can actually see, perceive as black. Blind people didn’t invent black but they see, or rather don’t see, what we know to be black.
