Given what you know about global-scale convection cells, where would you travel if you were interested in experiencing warm, plentiful rain?

If I were interested in experiencing warm, plentiful rain, I would go somewhere with a flow of moisture coming from the South, such as Mexico, that travels North, such as to an area of California that also has a lot of forests, where moist summers and warm winters are common.
