A bird's egg is fragile but does not crack under the weight of the mother bird sitting on it. Why?

Although a birds egg looks fragile its egg is actually exetremely robust its oval shape is what gives the egg a little break resistant when it is sat upon a mother going back on it being fragile it would actually need more than 26 pounds in order for the egg to crack or break
