Cell wall supports cell membrane, maintains cell shape, and protects the cell.

    Explanation:

The cell wall is not present in all types of cells but they are in plant cells. They function as a protective covering that encloses the cell membrane. It is semi-permeable as well, controlling what goes in and out of the cell. It provides the shape of the cell because of its structure. They are more rigid and made out of a structural carbohydrate called cellulose (in plants). They also protects the cell membrane.
