Why does the environmental crisis demand a new ethic?

Ethics are human's comfort and interest, it cannot protect the environment so it causes damages to the environment where people will be affected. Nowadays Ethics are implemented to meet the needs of the current generation but it will be dangerous to the future generation. So that environmental crisis demand a new ethics which want focus on economic and social development, protective and caring environment.
