You have a flower that is homozygous dominant for the red flowers and a flower that is homozygous dominant for the white flowers. When you cross fertilize the two flowers you get offspring with pink flowers. Which type of inheritance is being exhibited?

    Incomplete dominance or partial dominance is the inheritance pattern in which no allele from the two alleles of the same character is dominant over one another.

    This can be seen in the Mirabilis jalapa plant where when plant having a red flower is crossed with the plant having white flower forms a plant which grow pink flowers. Therefore when both alleles come together in an offspring it makes pink color flower.

    This show that gene that produce red color is not completely dominant over white color allele. Therefore the correct answer is incomplete dominance.
