"Partially deflate the cuff" will reduce the client's risk of aspiration pneumonia.

    Explanation:

The client will find it extremely hard to swallow or talk with an inflated cuff so first thing to do is to deflate it. Also making the client to sit in the position such that the chin is flexed little along the chest region by sitting upright will also reduce its risk. Regular Monitoring is needed for a wet or garbling sounding voice, and signs of fever for the aspiration pneumonia patient.
