Does anyone know of a single cell manufacturer in food chains

    Unicellular organism are organism with single cells example of this include amoeba, pytoplankton.

    Pytoplankton are found in oceans and they serve as food producer in the first trophic energy level transfering energy to other organism. Phytoplankton are organism that produce their own food and are know to provide in abundance oxygen gas needed to support life for both animals and plant.
