I believe the answer is Hormones.
Female reproductive system is regulated by the combination of Hormones and nervous system (hormones control the cycles and nervous system controls the indirect movement such as movement in fallopian tubes.).
Examples of hormones that involved in reproductive system : Estrogen, Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), Leutenizing hormone (LH) m etc.
