Biodiversity is vital to ecosystem health. It means that there are a lot of different species and types of each animal. Say a certain type of mouse goes extinct. If that is the only small rodent in that ecosystem, then the snake that eats that mouse will have a lot of problems finding food and maybe even they go extinct too. However if the mouse went extinct in a biodiverse area, meaning it has many types of small rodents, the snake would easily find another food source. Biodiversity kind of insures the safety of the animals and plants in that ecosystem and that's why it's important we preserve it. The rest of the questions are based off of your personal opinion.
