    The two major parts of eukaryotic cell are nucleus and cytoplasm.

    The Nucleus stores and protects the DNA of the cell. It is surrounded by a nuclear envelope with nuclear pores.

    The Cytoplasm is the region of the cell between the cell membrane and the nucleus. It contains the organelles.
