    The answer is blood plasma. Blood plasma is ultrafiltrated by the choroidal capillaries to become cerebral spinal fluid, about 50%. The rest is secreted by the cells of the choroid plexus and ventricular ependyma. They contain the same elements in the blood plasma necessary for the nourishment an proper functioning of cells
