What is true concerning dna synthesis catalyzed by dna polymerases?

    DNA polymerase catalyses hydrolysis reaction between adjacent nucleotides. So does contribute to DNA synthesis.

    (But other enzymes e. g. DNA helicase is needed before this to unwind the DNA strand so that complementary base pairing can take place)
