The average height of man 100 years ago was 5'5", today the average height is 5'8". Why are we getting taller?

    The Answer to that is that with evolution, different genes in the human body change, in order for us to adapt to different things. For example, at the end of the spine we have the so called "tail bone". Humans used to have tails, something our bodies' no longer need.
