    DNA is a molecule that carries genetic material of an organism while RNA is a molecule involved in the formation of proteins which are crucial in cellular activities. RNA polymerase is an enzyme that carries out transcription of DNA to form a mRNA which then undergoes translation to form proteins. Therefore; chemical interfering of the ability of RNA polymerase to bind DNA molecule means that transcription would not take place and consequently translation would not take place.
