Two molecules of oxygen atoms are present in the oxygen molecule and ozone molecule has three oxygen atoms. The oxidation potential of ozone is higher as compared to that of oxygen so it can whirl some oxidation processes much faster than that of oxygen. The densities of both the molecules are also different.
