Mendel crossed two pea plants one with green pods and one with yellow pods. The F1 generation all had a green pods. What color pods did the F2 generation have?

    If the F1 generation has all green pods, this means that green was the dominant allele. In the next generation (F2) we will see green AND yellow pods. This is due to the 9:33:1 ratio. Through this experiment, Mendel developed the law of independent assortment.
