Cutaneous senses are a sensation of external forces and objects through the contact with the body.

    1. The consequences for a loss of ability to process touch information could be a loss of pain; inability to feel injuries, cuts, etc; lack of registering pressure.

    2. A loss of ability to sense temperature will lead to injury and burns because the body will not sense the temperature change. The natural reaction to reject the stimulation is absent, so the body could not defend itself.

    3. A loss of ability to sense pain will cause tissue and organ damage or some unnoticed infections. Someone could harm itself unintentionally because it will not sense the pain.
