    Octavia

    Explanation:

The Bureau of Labor statics considers unemployed people as jobless persons who have been actively seeking employment in the past four weeks. The formula that the Bureau uses does not take into account unemployed people who are engaged in other non-income generating activities.

One shortfall of the unemployment figures from the Bureau is that they do not consider all the unemployed people. Family members taking care of the sick, the elderly, or unpaid stay at home parents are not counted. Jobless individuals who have taken a break from job searching or those that have lost hope of getting hired are not considered as unemployed.
