    Multipolar world

    Explanation:

The concept of a multipolar world refers to the "global power" being shared between different countries of groups of countries. Until recently, the US was the world's superpower. It had the largest economy, largest military power and was able to influence how the leaders of other countries would act.

Now China, Russia and the EU have increasingly become more relevant as world leaders. Before the US was the military leader of all the decisions made by the United Nations Security Council, now Russia is the great peacekeeper of the Middle East, China controls Asia and the EU is expanding to former communist nations. China is also expanding its financial control of African and Latin American countries. Three years ago no one would have ever dreamed about the United Nations assembly laughing at an American president, but that happened to President Trump.
