    Finance is the study of banking, leverage, credit, capital markets, money, and investments along with how they are used by individuals and companies. Many of the basic concepts in Finance come from Micro and Macroeconomic theories. One of the most fundamental theories is the time-value of money which essentially states that a dollar today is worth more than a dollar in the future.

    When it comes to businesses, finance plays a key role because it determines how the project will be carried out in terms of money. Investors must come up with a plan not only for the expenditures incurred due to business activities but also to make a profit so the firm will have sustainability.
