Registered elections are conducted by the Executive Authority

    Explanation:

With the announcement by Gov. Rick Perry of a primary election to fill the vacancy started the process of replacing Leaguer's seat. For any vacant seat in the Legislature a really proclamation is necessary.

In compliance with Texas Election Law, the special election must always be held at least 36 days once the Governor declares it. Within the case of Legler, the date of the general election is fixed by Perry on November 6.

Whenever a seat in the parliament is vacant until a term is completed, the governor shall make a special choice to do so. The primary is usually held in May or October, but the race could be held earlier if the governor wants to fill the seat in an emergency.

The voters have to contend with expressing their complaints to workers rather than lawmakers between the period when a resignation takes place and the special election.
