Is the time it takes to fly from city upper a to city upper time it takes to fly from city a to city b discrete or? continuous?

    To answer this question, let us first define the two variables:

    Discrete variable can only take up countable values or whole values like 5, 6, and 7.

    Continuous variables, on the other hand, have infinite number of possible values since it can take up decimal forms like 5.1, 5.11, 5.111, and etc.
