    Cost price (CP) = $460

    Tax amount (A) = $13.80

    Tax% (T%) = ?

    It is clear that:

    ↪Tax amount=T% of CP

    ↪A=T%*460

    ↪13.80 = (T*460) / 100

    ↪13.80=4.6T

    ↪T=13.8/4.6

    ↪T=3

    T%=3%➡ANS
