    Explanation:

    The argument is deductive invalid as beased on their first sentence that hte government is too big it should accept proportional cuts in all areas of the government including, medicare.

    Also, as it being inconsistent as one sentence is in conflit with the other. spending in welfare will make the gervernment weight in the economy to increase or stay the same but, this person claims it needs to decrease.
