    Explanations: - There are four quantum numbers, n, l. ml and ms.

    n stands for Principal quantum number and tells us about the shell (energy level) in which electron is present. For example, n = 1 means the electron is in first energy level.

    Second quantum number is l and it stands for Azimuthal quantum number and tells us about sub shell (sub energy level) or orbital in which electron is present.

    For example, l = 0 means electron is in s orbital. l = 1 means electron is in p orbital. l = 2 means electron is in d orbital and l = 3 means electron is in f orbital.
