When water is added to HCl, will the pH of HCl increase?

    Obv. it will increase because if the ph would be less that would mean it becomes more acidic and now that's not possible.

    HCl or hydrochloric acid is a strong acid which dissociates completely when dissolved in water. The pH of acids fall below 7 while bases have pH above 7. IN this case, a neutral substance, water when added with acid has a resulting ph of less than 7 or generally decrease
