ml and dl are the units of measurement of volume.
ml stands for millilitre while dl stands for decilitre.
1 ml = 10^{-3} l
and 1 dl = 10^{-1} l
Thus as it can be seen, dl is a bigger unit than ml.
Therefore, 5 dl is larger than 5 ml.
