    The pressure exerted by a static fluid depends only upon the depth of the fluid, the density of the fluid, and the acceleration of gravity. It can be calculated as follows:

    P = density x g x h

    P = 1000 kg/m^3 x 9.8 m / s x 33 ft x 0.3048 m/ft

    P = 98572.32 kg/m^2
