Describe why solar radiation is said to drive winds.

A) Token energy from solar radiation flares causes occasional directional shift in the winds, rains, and other weather phenomena.

B) UV solar radiation burns off the atmosphere and causing wind and weather phenomena as more air fills the resulting atmospheric gap.

C) The sun's radiation warms the atmosphere causing warm air to rise producing wind as more air flows in to fill the space below the rising air.

D) Solar radiation along with gravitational pull of the earth's core provide the energy source for the winds and other atmospheric weather phenomena.
