What are particles of carbon otherwise known as, and what kind of pollution do they cause?

    Carbon otherwise known as CO2 causes an greenhouse effect (which thickens our atmosphere), causing the heat absorbed from the sun in our atmosphere to be trapped and resulting in global warming
