Maleic anhydride is mainly used in glass, steel industry, raw material for unsaturated polyesteal resins (UPR). Maleic anhydride is an organic compound with the formular C2H2.
Maleic anhydride is used as a chemical intermediate in the sythesis of fumaric and tartartic acide.
